Nation’s Leading Second Amendment Organization to Hold Panel Discussion on 2A Safety for Children to Kick off the School Year
USCCA For Saving Lives Action Fund Event to Feature USCCA’s Beth Alcazar alongside State Officials at The Oaklawn Casino in Hot Springs
The U.S. Concealed Carry Association For Saving Lives Action Fund (USCCA FSL Action Fund), supported by the nation’s largest and fastest-growing organization dedicated to responsible gun ownership, will host a panel discussion with leading state and local lawmakers on Saturday, August 23rd at 11 AM/CT at the Oaklawn Casino in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
The event will feature the USCCA’s Beth Alcazar alongside Second Amendment champions, including State Senators Dan Sullivan, Gary Stubblefield, and Matt McKee, as well as State Representative Bruce Cozart. The discussion will spotlight Act 229, the Firearm Safety Education Act, a new law going into effect this school year that brings essential firearm safety curriculum to Arkansas classrooms. This landmark legislation empowers students with knowledge and responsibility, which is critical for the future of the Second Amendment in Arkansas.
“Act 229 is a monumental step forward for Arkansas,” said Beth Alcazar, “It’s more than just legislation; it’s a commitment to our kids and our communities. By bringing essential firearm safety education into classrooms, we’re not only giving students life-saving knowledge, we’re also fostering a culture of responsibility, respect, and constitutional awareness. This law empowers the next generation to approach the Second Amendment with clarity and confidence, grounded in knowledge, guided by safety, and inspired to protect our freedoms.”
With over 860,000 members nationwide, including thousands in Colorado, the U.S. Concealed Carry Association (USCCA) is the largest and fastest-growing association in the country whose sole focus is providing self-defense education and training to responsible American gun owners. The recently launched USCCA for Saving Lives Action Fund – a 501(c)(4) organization – was created with the mission of educating and equipping responsible gun owners to participate in the political process and advocate for their God-given rights.
